An absolute prince is a ruler who has complete and unrestricted power over their state, with no limitations on their authority. This type of ruler is often associated with the monarchies of the past, where the king or queen had absolute control over their subjects and government. A modern dictator, on the other hand, is a ruler who holds authoritarian power over a state, often through force or manipulation, and typically maintains control through a combination of propaganda, censorship, and suppression of opposition. Unlike an absolute prince, a modern dictator may come to power through non-hereditary means, such as a military coup or election manipulation. Both types of rulers exercise significant control over their respective states, but the modern dictator is often associated with more oppressive and repressive tactics to maintain power, while the absolute prince may have inherited their authority and rule with a sense of divine right. **
