As an AI language model, I do not have personal experiences. However, I can provide information on modern Chinese motorcycles. Chinese motorcycle manufacturers have been making significant advancements in recent years, producing a wide range of models that cater to different riding styles and preferences. These motorcycles are known for their affordability, reliability, and increasingly competitive performance. With the growing popularity of Chinese motorcycles in the global market, many riders have been gaining experience with these modern machines. **

A choke is still needed to start modern motorcycles because it helps to enrich the air-fuel mixture when the engine is cold. This is necessary because a cold engine requires a richer mixture to start and run smoothly. The choke restricts the air intake, allowing more fuel to be drawn into the engine, which helps to facilitate the combustion process. Once the engine warms up, the choke can be gradually turned off as the air-fuel mixture becomes optimized for normal operation. **

125cc motorcycles are not faster than 500cc motorcycles. In general, 500cc motorcycles have larger engines and more power, allowing them to achieve higher speeds and faster acceleration compared to 125cc motorcycles. The difference in speed and performance between these two types of motorcycles is primarily due to the engine size and power output. **

Mopeds are small, lightweight motorized bicycles with engines typically less than 50cc. They are easy to ride and are often used for short commutes in urban areas. Light motorcycles are slightly larger than mopeds, with engines typically ranging from 50cc to 250cc. They are more powerful and can reach higher speeds, making them suitable for longer commutes and highway riding. Medium motorcycles are larger and more powerful than light motorcycles, with engines typically ranging from 250cc to 750cc. They are capable of higher speeds and are often used for touring and longer distance riding. **

Most motorcycles from the 1950s were two-stroke motorcycles because two-stroke engines were simpler, lighter, and cheaper to produce than four-stroke engines. This made them more accessible to the general public and easier to maintain. Additionally, two-stroke engines provided a good power-to-weight ratio, making them popular for racing and off-road use. The technology for four-stroke engines was also not as advanced at the time, further contributing to the prevalence of two-stroke motorcycles in the 1950s. **

No, the shifting on motorcycles is not the same for all motorcycles. The shifting pattern can vary depending on the make and model of the motorcycle. Some motorcycles have a standard 1-down, 5-up shifting pattern, while others may have a 1-down, 4-up pattern or even a 1-down, 6-up pattern. Additionally, some motorcycles may have a different gear shifting mechanism, such as a heel-toe shifter or a semi-automatic transmission. It's important for riders to familiarize themselves with the specific shifting pattern and mechanism of the motorcycle they are riding. **

Contemporary plays can be considered modern in the sense that they reflect current societal issues, values, and cultural norms. They often incorporate modern technology, language, and themes that are relevant to today's audience. However, the term "modern" can also refer to a specific historical period in theater, typically the late 19th and early 20th centuries, so in that sense, contemporary plays may not be considered modern. Overall, the classification of contemporary plays as modern depends on the context and definition being used. **
